Path of Exile 2 Early Access: Here’s What You Need to Know

Hey, gamer friends! Got some exciting news for you, especially if you’re into action RPGs.

Path of Exile 2 is finally heading our way with Early Access starting December 7, and it’s looking like a wild ride.

Let’s break it down.

What’s New in Path of Exile 2?

Set 20 years after the original game, Path of Exile 2 is taking us on a whole new journey. This time, you’re chasing down the Seed of Corruption and trying to stop the big baddie, the Count of Ogham, from wreaking havoc. Expect to trek through creepy forests, barren deserts, and ancient jungle ruins while battling fierce enemies and meeting some… let’s call them “interesting” characters.

The Early Access version comes packed with six playable classes, like the Monk, Warrior, and Witch, each offering unique specializations. Whether you’re into slinging spells, sniping with a bow, or smashing things up close and personal, there’s something to suit your style.

Supporter Packs: The Extras You Didn’t Know You Needed

If you’re keen to jump in early, there are Supporter Packs available starting at $30.

These come with Early Access and some in-game goodies. If you’re into collecting cool gear, the higher-tier packs have even more perks—think armor sets, adorable Kiwi pets, and even physical merch like artbooks and hoodies for the super fans.

There’s also the option to grab extra Early Access keys in some packs, perfect if you want to team up with friends right out of the gate.

Endgame Adventures Await

Now, the campaign is just the appetizer here.

Path of Exile 2 is throwing in a meaty endgame with everything from challenging boss fights to roguelike trials and mysterious maps infected by… let’s say, some not-so-friendly forces. Whether you’re digging up relics with explosives or battling resurrected monsters in Ritual Altars, there’s plenty to keep you on your toes.

And for the brave souls, there’s Cruel Mode—a tougher but more rewarding way to play.

Save the Date!

December 7 is when it all kicks off across PC, consoles, and even the Epic Games Store. If you’re ready to explore Wraeclast and take on the chaos, keep an eye on the official website for more details.
