Google is introducing new features on Google Play aimed at expanding how players discover and access paid games across devices.

One of the updates is a “buy once, play anywhere” option that allows players to purchase select paid games a single and access them across Android devices and Windows PCs through Google Play Games.

With the feature, a supported game bought on mobile will also be available on PC, allowing players to switch devices without purchasing the title again.

Upcoming games include Moonlight Peaks, Sledding Game, and Low-Budget Repairs. These titles will be playable across mobile and PC, with player progress synced through Google Play so users can continue gameplay regardless of the device they are using.

Google  is also launching Game Trials, which will allow players to try the full version of select paid games for free before deciding whether to purchase them.

Progress made during the trial period will carry over if the user buys the game, a feature that will first roll out on mobile devices and support for PC planned later. Google is also introducing community features designed to help players engage with each other directly within the platform. Community Posts will allow players to share tips and ask questions on their Play Store pages.

Google is also testing an AI-powered feature called Play Games Sidekick, which will provide gameplay tips and guidance for supported titles through an overlay while playing
