Smartphone brand POCO is bringing its new X Pro lineup to the Philippines, headlined by the POCO X8 Pro Max with an 8,500mAh battery, Dimensity 9500s chip, and prices starting at ₱18,999.

The series includes the POCO X8 Pro Max and POCO X8 Pro, each targeting users looking for flagship-level performance at midrange pricing.

At the top of the lineup, the POCO X8 Pro Max introduces a 3nm Dimensity 9500s processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The device recorded an AnTuTu score exceeding 3 million. The standard POCO X8 Pro runs on the Dimensity 8500-Ultra chip, delivering improved GPU performance and better power efficiency over its predecessor.

Both devices support hardware-level ray tracing and POCO’s WildBoost Optimization, designed to stabilize frame rates and enhance gaming visuals. Thermal management is handled by the brand’s IceLoop cooling systems, with the Pro Max featuring a larger 5,800mm cooling area.

The Pro Max carries an 8,500mAh battery rated for up to two days of use, while the POCO X8 Pro uses a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery. Both support 100W fast charging and 27W reverse charging.

The Pro Max features a 6.83-inch panel, while the Pro has a 6.59-inch screen. Both offer up to 3,500 nits peak brightness and 3840Hz PWM dimming, along with TÜV Rheinland eye-care certifications. Audio is powered by dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

The phones also come with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, along with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The Pro Max has also received a five-star SGS certification for durability.

For photography, both models use a 50MP main camera and a 20MP front camera, supported by AI imaging features such as UltraSnap and dynamic shot modes.

The series runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3, with features like cross-device connectivity, offline communication for calls without signal, and AI tools powered by Google Gemini and Circle to Search.
