Tech brand Infinix is expanding its esports presence in Southeast Asia (SEA) through a wider partnership with MOONTON Games, to boost major Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournaments in the region.

Infinix will serve as Presenting Partner of the MLBB Professional League Indonesia, Titling Partner of the MLBB Development League Indonesia, and Official Sponsor of the MLBB Super League Thailand. These partnerships build on earlier collaborations in the Philippines and Malaysia

The partnership covers multiple seasons, including MPL Indonesia Season 17, MDL Indonesia Season 13, and the inaugural MSL Thailand Season 1. Infinix will provide tournament-grade gaming smartphones and roll out localized fan engagement programs designed to connect grassroots players with professional-level competition.

“This season marks the most comprehensive regional rollout we’ve done with a single hardware partner,” said Adrian Cher, global head of Partnerships, MLBB Esports at MOONTON Games. “Partnerships like this ensure our players compete on infrastructure required for world-class mobile esports.”

The competitive calendar begins March 20, with Infinix powering matches in MPL Philippines and MSL Myanmar as the official gaming phone. MPL Indonesia opens March 27, followed by MDL Indonesia on March 30. Expansion continues into Malaysia and Cambodia on April 3, before MSL Thailand launches April 18.

Beyond tournaments, Infinix is introducing fan-focused initiatives such as campus leagues, gaming master classes, and fan club competitions using its GT Series devices. The company is also integrating AIoT tools into broadcasts to enhance match analysis and viewing experiences.
