OPPO Find X9 Series is here and it’s flexing a 200MP Hasselblad Telephoto and a 7000mAh battery

OPPO just dropped its newest flagship, the Find X9 Series, and it’s clear the brand is done playing it safe. This global launch introduced the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, both engineered to push the boundaries of what a smartphone can do, from its camera system co-developed with Hasselblad, to its jaw-dropping 7000+mAh battery, and the polished new ColorOS 16.

“Find X9 Series represents a giant leap forward in mobile imaging,” said Pete Lau, OPPO’s Chief Product Officer. “It’s a top-to-bottom upgrade that sets a new global standard for smartphone excellence.”

    200MP of Hasselblad magic

Let’s start with the part everyone’s talking about — the camera.

OPPO’s long-time partnership with Hasselblad hits new heights this year. The Find X9 Pro debuts a 200MP Hasselblad Telephoto lens with a huge 1/1.56-inch sensor, capable of lossless zoom up to 13.2x and even macro shots at just 10cm. That’s some serious hardware muscle packed into a phone.

Meanwhile, the Find X9 itself is no slouch. It rocks a triple 50MP setup — main, ultra-wide, and periscope telephoto — plus an industry-first True Color Camera that measures ambient light to deliver color accuracy that would make photographers grin.

Both models are powered by OPPO’s new LUMO Image Engine, a smarter photo-processing system that boosts image quality while using less CPU and power. Translation: clearer shots, faster saves, longer battery life. Oh, and it can even shoot 4K Motion Photos, meaning every frame can be extracted as a high-res still.

Built for concerts, creators, and anyone who zooms way too much

If you’ve ever tried filming your favorite band from the nosebleed seats, OPPO’s got you. The Find X9 Series has concert mode-level zoom chops, enhanced by OPPO’s Super Zoom algorithm and Stage Mode for dramatic lighting.

You can also record in 4K 120fps Dolby Vision HDR, or go pro with LOG video and ACES certification — the same color standard used in Hollywood post-production.

And for those who take their zoom obsession seriously, OPPO even made a Hasselblad Teleconverter, turning the X9 Pro into a 10x optical super-zoom beast capable of up to 200x digital zoom.

Power that actually lasts (for once)

OPPO managed to fit a 7025mAh battery into the Find X9’s slim 7.99mm frame, while the Pro version pushes it further with a 7500mAh pack — the biggest ever in an OPPO flagship. These are third-generation Silicon-Carbon batteries, which keep over 80% capacity even after five years of use.

Charging? You get 80W SUPERVOOC wired, 50W AIRVOOC wireless, and 10W reverse wireless — basically every option covered, including topping up your earbuds on the go.

A design that feels as good as it looks

The Find X9 Series goes for a modern, flat-edged design with barely-there 1.15mm bezels and a 120Hz display that can reach a blinding 3600 nits outdoors. The color options are understated yet stylish: Titanium Grey, Space Black, and Velvet Red for the Find X9, while the Find X9 Pro adds Silk White and Titanium Charcoal for a more premium vibe.

Durability also got an upgrade — IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings mean it’s dustproof, waterproof, and tough enough to handle life’s accidental spills and splashes.

    Performance that means business

Under the hood, both phones are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chip built on a 3nm process — smaller transistors, more efficiency, and up to 32% better performance. Gamers and power users will appreciate the All-New Trinity Engine, which optimizes resources for buttery-smooth performance even under heavy loads.

And yes, it stays cool while gaming, thanks to OPPO’s customized vapor chambers.

Smarter, smoother, and way more connected

Running on ColorOS 16, the Find X9 Series introduces AI-powered tools that feel actually useful. There’s AI Mind Space for quick on-screen captures, AI Recorder for automatic transcripts and summaries, and AI Portrait Glow to make low-light selfies look natural.

Cross-device connectivity also levels up with O+ Connect, now compatible with both Mac and Windows — so you can drag files, mirror your phone, or control your PC from your phone.

    Availability

The OPPO Find X9 comes in 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 512GB, while the Find X9 Pro is available in a 16GB + 512GB configuration. Global availability begins early November 2025, through OPPO stores, authorized retailers, and partner carriers.
