The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) is strengthening AI readiness among its leaders and key personnel through a partnership with local AI company NMBLR.ai, which will provide its Nexus AI Training program.
Under a memorandum of understanding (MOU), NMBLR.ai will conduct AI workshops, hands-on training, executive sessions, and demonstrations for DOST leadership, ExeCom members, technical staff, and program officers. The training will be held at NMBLR’s Programmable Makati Office, which will serve as the learning venue for participants.
The collaboration aims to help DOST personnel develop practical AI skills and better understand how AI tools can support the agency’s work and the country’s science and technology agenda.
The partnership comes as organizations across industries explore ways to move from testing AI tools to using them in daily operations. NMBLR.ai focuses on helping enterprises apply AI in business processes through its platform, which includes Foundation, Prism, and Forge.
“AI is the most disruptive force of our generation, and most enterprises are still treating it as an experiment,” said Winston Damarillo, CEO and founder of NMBLR.ai. “We built NMBLR on a different conviction: that AI should run the business, deliver results leaders can measure, and do it on terms the enterprise controls. Doing that profitably isn’t a constraint; it’s the proof the model works.”
The company said its platform is being used by enterprises in the Philippines and the United States, including organizations in banking, financial services, retail, real estate, and other industries. NMBLR.ai recently opened Programmable, its first regional innovation hub in Makati, as a space for AI development, executive learning, and implementation.
Through the DOST partnership, NMBLR.ai will provide access to its AI learning tools and Nexus platform resources, while assigning AI practitioners and trainers to develop training content relevant to DOST programs and public-sector needs.
NMBLR.ai said the partnership highlights the need for organizations to build AI capabilities alongside technology adoption, helping leaders identify where AI can improve operations and create measurable results.
