DJI has launched the Osmo 360 II in the Philippines, adding a new 360-degree camera with 8K video recording, improved low-light performance and replaceable lenses.
The Osmo 360 II uses a 1-inch square HDR sensor capable of recording 360-degree video at up to 8K resolution and 60 frames per second. DJI said the sensor delivers a 14.5-stop dynamic range, while its 2.4-micron pixels are designed to improve image quality in fast-moving scenes.
For low-light shooting, the camera uses DJI’s AI SuperNight 2.0 noise-reduction system. It can also capture 120-megapixel HDR 360-degree photos, 16K timelapses and 8K/120fps Vortex footage. All video formats support 10-bit color and D-Log M.
The camera weighs 183 grams and comes with 105GB of built-in storage. Its lenses are replaceable and use an optical film designed to improve resistance to scratches and wear. DJI rates battery life at up to 100 minutes when recording 8K/30fps video. The battery can charge to 80% in 22 minutes, while an optional Battery Extension Rod can add up to 180 minutes of runtime.
The Osmo 360 II can also be used underwater to 10 meters without an additional case and in temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius. An optional waterproof case extends its diving depth to 50 meters.
The upgraded DJI Mimo app adds Spotlight Follow, which keeps a subject centered as the camera rotates. NFC connectivity allows users to quickly connect the camera to the app and transfer footage.
In the Philippines, the DJI Osmo 360 II starts at Php 32,490 for the Standard Combo. The Adventure Combo costs Php 39,490, while the Limitless Riding Combo is priced at Php 34,490.
