Smart energy brand HopeTrek has entered the Philippine market with a pitch centered on energy reliability, home security and power efficiency as Filipino households continue to grapple with rising electricity costs and unstable power supply.
The company, which operates under global AIoT firm Uniview, formally launched its “Smart & Safe Home” ecosystem during an event in Manila on May 19.
HopeTrek said its system integrates solar power, energy storage, EV charging and smart home technologies into a single platform aimed at both residential and business users. The company said the product is a practical response to recurring power interruptions and voltage fluctuations experienced in many parts of the country.
The company’s concept of “Less is More” focuses on reducing downtime, electricity costs and maintenance concerns. The system includes a 4-millisecond backup switching feature intended to protect appliances and computers during sudden power disruptions.
The hardware also supports a voltage range of 170V to 290V, which the company said is designed for areas with unstable grid conditions, particularly in provinces where power fluctuations are more common.
Aside from introducing its products, HopeTrek said it plans to expand local technical support through an installer training and certification program, marketing assistance and local spare parts availability. The company also announced a 24-hour response mechanism on working days to support partners and customers.
HopeTrek said its long-term goal in the Philippines is to build an integrated ecosystem combining energy management, security systems and AI-powered smart home technologies.
