HONOR Philippines will launch the HONOR 600S in the country on Oct. 1, expanding its HONOR 600 smartphone lineup with a model featuring a large-capacity battery, 5G connectivity and artificial intelligence (AI) tools.
According to the company, the device is designed for users who rely on their smartphones for entertainment, content creation, work and connectivity.
One of the phone’s highlighted features is HONOR AI Image to Video 2.0, an AI-powered tool for creating videos from images.
The device will also support 5G connectivity and carry an 8,100mAh battery. HONOR said the battery is designed to support extended use for activities such as streaming, social media, content creation and other daily tasks.
The company did not provide further specifications for the device in its announcement, including its processor, cameras, display, charging capabilities or storage configurations.
HONOR Philippines Vice President Stephen Cheng said the 600S will bring features from the HONOR 600 series to a wider group of consumers.
The smartphone will officially launch in the Philippines on Oct. 1, with the event scheduled for 4 p.m. The launch will also be livestreamed through the company’s official channels.
More details about the device, including its local price and retail availability, are expected to be announced during the Oct. 1 launch.
