Computer manufacturer Acer has held the No. 1 spot in the Philippine laptop market for 20 consecutive years, from 2006 to 2025, based on the International Data Corp. (IDC) Quarterly Personal Computing Device Tracker Q4 2025.

The company also recorded its highest consumer laptop market share in 2025 at 37.3%, according to data from market research firm NielsenIQ GfK.

Acer said its leadership extends across both gaming and non-gaming segments. The company posted a 40.5% share in the consumer gaming laptop segment and 36.1% in the consumer non-gaming category.

“We are incredibly proud to have earned the trust of Filipino consumers for twenty years,” said Sue Ong-Lim, managing director of Acer Philippines. “We will continue to serve our consumers in ways we know best to remain the top-of-mind computer brand in the country.”

Acer attributed its continued market leadership to its accessible premium products, along with a strong retail presence and an extensive network of service centers across the country.

The company offers a wide portfolio of laptops across different price ranges. The Aspire series is positioned for students who need reliable and efficient devices for everyday use, while the Nitro series targets gamers with higher specifications and stronger processing power.

Acer has also supported the growth of esports in the region through events such as the Asia Pacific Predator League.

The brand has also partnered with personalities in entertainment and pop culture, including the P-pop group SB19, known as the “Kings of P-pop,” to reach younger audiences.
