Technology company Lenovo has signed a global partnership with David Beckham, combining the reach of one of the world’s most recognized sports figures with the company’s expanding innovation in both technology and international sports.

The collaboration supports Lenovo’s role in global football, including its position as Official Technology Partner of the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027. Beckham will work with Lenovo across initiatives spanning sports innovation, business productivity, and global marketing.

Lenovo said the partnership will highlight how its technologies are used across different environments, from elite sports to everyday work. In football, this includes tools that support teams, officials, and fans, while also improving operations and unlocking new commercial opportunities. Beyond the pitch, the collaboration will extend to professionals and businesses using technology to improve efficiency and performance.

“David is not only a global figure across football, business, and culture, but is someone who understands the power of innovation to transform the world,” said Yuanqing Yang, CEO and chair of Lenovo. “That makes him the perfect partner to help us demonstrate how Smarter AI can drive better life and more efficient work for all.”

Lenovo said Beckham will also front a global marketing campaign set to launch in May, ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026, making the partnership a key part of its international brand promotion.

“Football will always be defined by talent, instinct, hard work, and the unforgettable moments that make the game special,” Beckham said. “Now AI and data are helping us to understand the sport more deeply, shaping how players and coaches prepare and how fans connect with the game. I look forward to learning more about Lenovo’s cutting-edge work, which is opening up new ideas and expanding access to the game.”
