The holiday season’s rolling in, and with it comes all the chaos — shopping, parties, family meet-ups, you name it. While this time of year brings excitement, it can also get a little hectic.

Last November 11, 2024, at Ascott Makati, Grab Philippines hosted a media briefing to share how they’re stepping up to ease some of that holiday stress. Country Head Ronald Roda, alongside Director for Mobility EJ Dela Vega and Director for Deliveries and Strategy Greg Camacho, unveiled new initiatives designed to make holiday life smoother for Filipinos.

With improved ride-sharing options and group-friendly food deliveries, Grab is bringing much-needed convenience to help you get around and plan those holiday gatherings with less hassle.

If you’re wondering how to get around or plan a holiday meal without the usual stress, here’s how Grab is bringing some much-needed convenience into the mix.

    #7 — Guaranteed On-Time Airport Rides

Traveling during the holiday rush? Grab’s Advance Booking service offers guaranteed on-time airport rides so you can start your vacation stress-free.

#6 — Carpool with Friends and Family

With the new Group Ride feature, Grab encourages carpooling, allowing you to travel with family and friends in a single booking. Perfect for attending holiday parties together!

#5 — Safety with Every Ride

Grab’s safety-focused initiatives, like Audio Protect and Trip Monitoring, ensure safer rides by tracking trip routes and recording audio for added security. You can feel secure knowing safety is a priority.

    #4 — Convenient Family Accounts

The new Family Account feature allows family members to book and track each other’s rides. This is a thoughtful addition for parents, letting them follow their kids’ journeys in real time and receive SOS alerts if needed.

#3 — More Affordable Rides and Deliveries

GrabCar Saver and GrabFood Saver offer lower-cost options if you’re okay with a slightly longer wait time. Enjoy a more affordable service without sacrificing quality, perfect for saving up during the holidays.

#2– Group Orders for Festive Meals

Planning a Christmas or New Year’s gathering? With Group Orders, Grab allows you to order shared meals more efficiently, making it easy to enjoy holiday feasts with loved ones.

#1 — GrabUnlimited for Extra Perks

GrabUnlimited subscribers enjoy free delivery, restaurant discounts, and now, everyday discounts on GrabCar bookings. This is your all-in-one subscription for a smoother holiday season.

    Less Hassle, More Holiday Spirit

With these new features, Grab’s helping make the holiday rush a bit easier to handle.

Whether it’s getting around or organizing a get-together, a little less stress goes a long way in enjoying the season. So, here’s to spending time with loved ones, savoring the good food, and letting the small stuff sort itself out.
