In an exclusive interview with PhilSTAR Tech, Padilla shared her tips on how to successfully do live selling through social media.
“First, you have to believe and like your products,” said the CHERRY brand ambassador. “You have to really use them so you know what to talk about because when they see, ‘Oh, she really likes it, she’s happy about the products and that she’s proud.’Then, it will be so easy for you to sell it,” she said.
Indeed, promoting online will be a breeze if you genuinely enjoy and care about your products.
There’s also a lot to keep in mind when you’re streaming—such as making sure you begin with a short introduction about your business and the products you will be showcasing—but Padilla added that it’s important to make sure you’re always focused on keeping your audience engaged.
“The key is to keep your live selling event entertaining and fun,” she said. “Stay engaged with your audience and be prepared to answer. You also want them to feel welcome.
