Samsung is continuing its support for the Galaxy Manila Marathon, showcasing how its Galaxy devices can help people stay active and build healthier habits.

Scheduled on June 13, 2026, in celebration of Philippine Independence Day, the event highlights resilience, perseverance, and healthy living. This year also marks a major expansion for the marathon through a partnership with SM Supermalls and RUNRIO, bringing races to Clark, Cebu, Iloilo, Davao, and Cagayan de Oro.

Supported by the Department of Tourism (DOT), all race routes in the series are certified by World Athletics and the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS), and sanctioned by the Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association (PATAFA).

Samsung’s fitness offerings include the Galaxy Watch8, Galaxy Watch8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra. Through Samsung Health, the smartwatches provide insights on pacing, endurance, recovery, and overall wellness.

Features such as Running Coach create personalized training plans and offer real-time guidance based on a runner’s fitness level. Energy Score helps users assess their daily physical and mental readiness, while sleep-focused tools such as Bedtime Guidance and Vascular Load support recovery by tracking rest and overnight strain.

Even Ugandan world champion and Team Galaxy athlete Jacob Kiplimo, who recently placed third at the London Marathon with a time of 2:00:09, highlighted the importance of data-driven performance analysis. “That same mindset powers Samsung’s approach to connected fitness: technology that not only records performance, but helps shape it.”

Samsung is also promoting its Galaxy Buds4 series as a training companion, offering Hi-Fi audio, Adaptive Noise Cancellation, and Ambient Sound controls to help runners stay focused while remaining aware of their surroundings.

For capturing race-day memories, Samsung is promoting the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which features enhanced Nightography, image stabilization, and AI-powered image processing for photos and videos during runs and at the finish line.

The 21-kilometer category has already sold out, with more than 9,000 runners registered, making it one of the largest 21K race categories in the Philippines.
