Samsung has introduced the Galaxy A27 5G, a midrange smartphone designed to deliver a larger display, improved performance, and more AI-powered features for everyday users.

Building on the Galaxy A26 5G, the Galaxy A27 5G aims to make common smartphone tasks easier, from watching content and switching between apps to editing photos and using AI tools.

The smartphone features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and viewing. It also uses an upgraded Infinity-O display design with a smaller punch-hole camera cutout and slimmer bezels to provide more screen space.

With a 7.8 mm slim body, the Galaxy A27 5G is designed for comfortable daily use. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, which improves responsiveness for multitasking, gaming, and streaming.

The smartphone also upgrades its camera experience with a 12 MP front camera designed to capture more natural selfies across different lighting conditions. Its rear camera setup includes a 50 MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 5 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2 MP macro camera.

Samsung is also expanding its AI features on the Galaxy A27 5G. Circle to Search with Google now supports multi-object recognition, allowing users to search for several items in one image. The feature can also help users explore clothing styles by virtually trying on outfits from search results.

Object Eraser has been improved to make removing unwanted elements from photos easier, while Voice Transcription in the Voice Recorder app can translate conversations as they are transcribed in 22 languages.

The Galaxy A27 5G also supports AI assistants, including Google Gemini and Perplexity, while adding deeper integration across Galaxy apps such as Gallery. Samsung’s Bixby has also been enhanced as a conversational device agent, allowing users to control settings and features using natural language.

For longer use, Samsung is providing up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades, along with up to six years of security updates from the initial global launch date. The smartphone also includes Samsung Knox Vault, which provides hardware-backed protection for sensitive data.

The Galaxy A27 5G will be available in the Philippines starting July 10 through Samsung.com, Samsung Experience and Authorized Stores, and Samsung Flagship stores on Lazada and Shopee. It will come in Black, Blue, and Light Pink.

Launch offers are available until Sept. 15, 2026, with savings of up to ₱3,639, including a ₱1,500 discount, free travel adapter, and Jisulife fan.
