The best and the brightest stars of the Philippine startup scene were honored last November 15 at the KMC Startup Awards which was held at One Ayala in Makati City.

Now in its second year, the KMC Startup Awards is one of the major community events of the Philippine Startup Week 2024. For this year, the nominees were selected from over 100 startups and 300 entries across the Philippine startup ecosystem.

In contention were 10 major business category awards with three winners for each category (Bronze, Silver, Gold). Eight judges from firms such as Ideaspace/QBO, Kaya Founders, KMC Solutions, Great Deals, Uniquecorn Strategies, and Main.ph deliberated on this year’s batch of awardees.

Digital bank GoTyme brought home three gold awards in the Growth Champion, Innovation in Marketing Award, and Startup of the Year category. Packworks, a tech-enabled platform for sari-sari stores, brought home two golds as Tech Innovator, and Emerging Leader of the Year for Packworks CEO Bing Tan.

Xeleqt, an AI-of-Things business-to-employee platform received the Innovative Product of the Year Award. The Social Impact Award went to Mylo for its Speech Buddy speech development system that’s designed to help support children with speech delays particularly those on the autism spectrum. Sprout Solutions, an end-to-end HR solutions platform, was awarded the Customer Excellence Award. Mober, a green tech logistics company, won the Sustainability Award while the Best Newcomer Award went to OneLot, a used car dealer financing platform.
