Artificial intelligence (AI) is changing how companies handle employees and daily business tasks as Philippine businesses look for ways to save time, improve decisions, and manage changing workforce needs.

Asticom Holding Co. Inc. has joined the Workday Partner Program to help organizations in the Philippines use AI-powered Human Capital Management (HCM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools for managing employees, finances, and business processes.

“Together with Workday, and enabled by the expertise of our teams at Asticom, we are well-positioned to help bring meaningful transformation in HR and finance in the Philippines,” said Mharicar Castillo-Reyes, president and CEO of Asticom.

Asticom, a wholly owned subsidiary of Globe Telecom and part of the Ayala group, provides services across talent solutions, human resources, customer experience, IT, finance and accounting, and engineering. The company serves more than 200 clients and employs over 4,000 professionals nationwide.

Through the partnership, Asticom’s IT-BPO arm, Asti Business Services Inc. (ABSI), will help companies set up and use these systems by providing technology integration and support. The partnership comes as businesses explore AI and automation to reduce manual work, organize employee information, improve hiring, and make better plans using data.

Workday serves more than 11,500 customers worldwide across industries including financial services, retail, manufacturing, technology, transportation, and energy and resources. Its platform uses AI-powered features to help companies simplify operations and improve how they manage their business.

For HR teams, these tools can automate tasks, provide information about employees, support recruitment, and help companies plan their workforce. For finance teams, they can make processes easier and provide clearer information for budgeting and decision-making.

“As enterprises in the Philippines look to navigate a rapidly evolving digital landscape, the need for intelligent, AI-powered solutions has never been greater,” said Jess O’Reilly, general manager, ASEAN at Workday. “By combining our global technology with Asticom’s local presence and the technical expertise of ABSI, we aim to help businesses unlock new levels of productivity and workforce resilience in the age of AI.”

The partnership gives Philippine companies another option for improving how they manage employees and business operations through automation and data-driven tools.
