The Asian Defense & Security Exhibition (ADAS) which happens every two years is the premiere defense and security exhibition in the Philippines.

For ADAS 2024 which opened last September 25, various local and international manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors from the security, defense, and disaster management industries showcase their hardware, technology, systems, and services to the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine National Police, security agencies, and disaster rescue services.

For ADAS 2024, heavy hitters such as Airbus, Bell, Lockheed Martin, Saab,Turkish Aerospace, Korea Aerospace Industries, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, Lignex-1, Navantia, and Hanwha Systems were on the show floor at the World Trade Center that included 250 other exhibitors.

The event was attended by trade and professional visitors in the defense, security, and civil defense industries. Some of the hardware on exhibit were armored vehicles, military jets, helicopters, civil defense equipment and systems, electronic warfare systems, military grade drones and UAVs, special forces and police equipment, including tactical and weapon systems. A full-scale model of a Saab JAS 39 Gripen fighter jet was on display for visitors to check out. Lockheed Martin even had a fully functioning F-16 flight simulator that had a fully working cockpit and multi-screen display.

Along with the exhibits, a two-day symposium was also held at the venue with the two themes of   “Evolving Asymmetric Warfare in the South China Sea: Regional Perspectives on Security and Strategy” and “Strengthening Cyber Defense Capabilities Amid Emerging Threats”. Keynote speakers from government, academe, industry experts and the diplomatic community delivered lectures on various topics such as asymmetric warfare, cybersecurity, and national defense.

More than 15,000 industry leaders, government officials, regional VIP delegates, and academia attended the 3-day event and witnessed the current developments in asymmetric warfare, information security, cybersecurity, and cyberdefense.

They explored around 14,500 sqm of exhibition space that was occupied by various exhibitors including country pavilions that were set up by France, Germany, Turkey, UK, Czech Republic, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and of course the Philippines. ADAS will return again in September 2026.
