Xiaomi has launched its REDMI Note 17 series in the Philippines, with the company banking on longer battery life and improved durability.
The lineup consists of four models: the REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G, REDMI Note 17 Pro 5G, REDMI Note 17 5G and REDMI Note 17.
REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G carries a 10,000mAh battery, and is the largest smartphone battery Xiaomi has introduced to date. It supports 100W HyperCharge and 27W reverse charging.
Xiaomi said the series was designed around its REDMI Titan Durability platform, with the Pro Max and Pro 5G models receiving TÜV SÜD 5-star Titan Durability Certification for drop, water and battery performance.
The two Pro models also come with IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings. Xiaomi said they passed a 2-meter, 72-hour water-resistance test and were tested to withstand drops of up to three meters onto granite surfaces.
The Pro Max is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 Mobile Platform and supports Xiaomi HyperAI. Google Gemini and Circle to Search are available across the series. It also features a 6.83-inch 1.5K display with up to 3,500 nits peak brightness, while the standard models come with larger 6.99-inch displays.
Prices start at Php 13,999 for the REDMI Note 17, Php 15,999 for the REDMI Note 17 5G, Php 20,999 for the REDMI Note 17 Pro 5G and Php 28,999 for the REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G.
Early-bird offers are available until Oct. 1, including a free REDMI Watch 6 Active or REDMI Buds 8 Lite, depending on the purchase.
