Shopee was named the top e-commerce platform in perceived quality in the Philippines at the 2026 Synergy-YouGov Awards, powered by YouGov BrandIndex.
The recognition was based on Shopee’s highest NET Perceived Quality score in the E-Commerce & M-Commerce category for 2025. The award reflects how Filipino consumers rated the platform’s ability to consistently provide reliable products, services, and shopping experiences throughout the year.
Shopee, an e-commerce platform operating across Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Brazil, said the recognition highlights growing consumer trust in online shopping services that focus on convenience and reliability.
“Shopee is dedicated to making e-commerce work for every Filipino. We believe trust is built through the everyday experience of finding what you need, delivered when and where you expect it,” said Jack Ng, head of commercial of Shopee Philippines.
Ng said the company continues to focus on helping buyers shop with confidence while giving small businesses more opportunities to reach customers online.
“Whether it’s helping buyers shop with confidence, supporting small Filipino businesses in reaching more customers, or improving access for communities in Visayas and Mindanao, this is what we aim to build every day,” he said.
The YouGov BrandIndex rankings are based on continuous consumer surveys that measure public perception and brand health across different industries. The awards recognize brands that performed strongly in key consumer sentiment indicators during 2025.
The recognition comes as e-commerce adoption in the Philippines continues to grow, driven by wider internet access, digital payments, and increasing demand for online shopping outside Metro Manila. Platforms are also competing more aggressively on delivery speed, product quality, and customer service as consumers become more selective in their online purchases.
The award was presented during Market(In)Sights 2026, an event organized by market research and analytics firms Synergy and YouGov. The event was held April 24 at Marquis Events Place in Bonifacio Global City.
