Samsung is refining its midrange formula with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G and Samsung Galaxy A37 5G, bringing AI-powered features, longer software support, and a more polished design to its Galaxy A series in the Philippines.

Both devices feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1900 nits. The addition of Vision Booster improves outdoor visibility, while IP68 water and dust resistance adds a layer of durability that remains uncommon in this price segment.

A key visual update comes in the form of Samsung’s refined “Ambient Island” design, wherein the rear camera module now looks more seamless, giving the A-series a cleaner, more cohesive aesthetic.

Under the hood, Samsung introduces what it calls “Awesome Intelligence,” bringing AI-powered tools through One UI 8.5. Features like Voice Transcription, AI Select, and Object Eraser aim to improve productivity and content creation, while Circle to Search and upgraded Bixby and Gemini integrations expand how users interact with the device.

Camera hardware is led by a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization and HDR video, alongside a 12MP front camera.

The Galaxy A57 5G introduces smoother, blur-free zoom transitions and improved low-light video processing, while the Galaxy A37 5G focuses on portrait photography with AI-powered subject detection and more refined detail processing.

Battery capacity is rated at 5,000mAh with 45W fast charging, with Samsung claiming up to 65 percent charge in around 30 minutes.

Performance is supported by upgraded processing and an improved cooling system with a larger vapor chamber for more stable thermals during extended use.

Samsung is committing to up to six Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates, alongside features like Samsung Cloud backup and end-to-end data encryption.

    Pricing in the Philippines

The Galaxy A37 5G starts at ₱25,990 for the 128GB variant and ₱27,990 for 256GB.

The Galaxy A57 5G, meanwhile, is priced at ₱28,990 for 128GB, ₱30,990 for 256GB, and ₱37,990 for the 512GB configuration.
