The world of Apple accessories is a place where practicality and indulgence keep trying to out-flex each other.
Some of these are genuinely useful. Some are… statements.
Some are things you buy when your tax refund hits and rationality leaves your body like a departing soul in an anime.
Here’s the glittering upper tier:
#1 — The Apple Pro Display XDR Stand – ₱63,990

Not the monitor — the stand. This glorious slab of machined aluminum costs more than a decent secondhand motorcycle. It tilts. It holds. It stands. And if you ever needed proof that Apple excels at prestige engineering, this is Exhibit A.
#2 — The Hermes AirTag Luggage Tag – ₱24,000–₱30,000

This is the kind of tag that whispers, “My suitcase is worth more than your entire flight.”
Luxurious, handcrafted leather, impeccable stitching and the same AirTag inside that everyone else uses to track their umbrella.
#3 — The Courant Mag:3 Classics Wireless Charging Tray -₱12,000+

A charging pad for people who prefer their tech accessories to look like they were designed for a boutique hotel lobby. Stylish, handcrafted, extremely giftable and definitely premium.
#4 — The Apple Leather Link and Milanese Loop Bands – ₱8,990–₱12,000

For the Apple Watch devotees who believe wrist straps should be both functional and quietly opulent.
#5 — The Belkin BoostCharge Pro 2-in-1 Stand – ₱7,000+

A minimalist, polished stand that makes your bedside table look like part of an Apple ad.
This one’s actually worth the price, but it still sparks the “am I really spending this much for a charger?” internal monologue.
#6 — Luxury iPhone cases (Caviar, Golden Concept, Graymar Studios) ₱50,000–₱500,000+

Think titanium frames, carved gold, meteorite fragments, or leather harvested from animals that probably have royal titles. Utterly unnecessary, yet wildly fascinating.
Bonus: The legendary $1,000 polishing cloth that never existed (but lives rent-free in tech folklore)

Apple accessories have always had a certain… gravitational pull on people’s wallets. And nothing illustrates that better than the mythic polishing cloth that supposedly cost a thousand dollars.
The real story is simpler and funnier.
When Apple released its US$19 Polishing Cloth in 2021, it somehow became the hottest merch in Cupertino. It sold out for months, exploded into memes, and spawned parody listings pricing it at absurd amounts. That’s how the myth of the “$1,000 Polishing Cloth” took on a life of its own.
It never existed, but it became canon anyway.
A tiny microfiber square turned into a cultural moment. One that still gets name-dropped whenever Apple launches something that feels a little too extra.
Which brings us to Apple’s latest entry in the “unexpected yet strangely compelling” category.
The new kid on the overpriced block: Apple’s iPhone Pocket

Just when we thought we’d seen every possible way to accessorize an iPhone, Apple teamed up with Japanese fashion house Issey Miyake to give us something delightfully extra: the iPhone Pocket.
Instead of another case or MagSafe attachment, this one’s basically a designer sock for your phone.
A 3D-knitted sleeve inspired by Issey Miyake’s “a piece of cloth” concept. It’s stretchy, ribbed, and designed to fit any iPhone, plus a few tiny essentials like your AirPods, keys, or lip balm.
You get two flavors of drama:
- a short-strap version (handheld or looped on a bag) in eight colors like lemon, mandarin, peacock, cinnamon, and black
- a long crossbody version in more muted shades like sapphire, cinnamon, and black
Price-wise, it’s very “I take my phone for walks” energy: around US$149.95 for the short strap and US$229.95 for the long strap, depending on market.
The knit is open enough that when it stretches, you can peek at your screen through the fabric, which feels a bit like putting your phone in a fancy lace curtain and calling it fashion.
But that’s kind of the charm: it’s not pretending to be super high-tech. It’s just a beautifully made, slightly absurd, very on-brand way to wear your iPhone instead of just carrying it.
In other words: once upon a time, Apple sold iPod Socks as a joke. Now we’ve reached the prestige sequel.
iPhone Pocket.
The elevated, runway-ready version that whispers, “Yes, my phone has an outfit.”
