The worlds of football and tech are colliding in a big way. Lenovo and Motorola just announced a major partnership with the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup 2025™, positioning themselves as the official tech backbone for one of the biggest tournaments in global club football history.

Set to kick off on June 14, 2025, in the United States, the reimagined FIFA Club World Cup will feature 32 of the world’s most iconic football clubs battling it out across 63 matches. And right alongside them? Lenovo’s AI-powered PCs, tablets, and workstations plus Motorola’s latest smartphones, including the upcoming Motorola razr 2025 line, all supporting the event on and off the pitch.

    Motorola: The official smartphone partner

Motorola will take center stage as the Official Smartphone Partner for the tournament, showcasing its iconic brand with pitch-side activations, fan engagement campaigns, and exclusive content shot using its flagship foldables. Expect to see Motorola’s branding on LED perimeter boards, jumbotrons, and other high-visibility placements throughout each match.

“Motorola is proud to support this new global club football landmark with smarter technology,” said Sergio Buniac, President of Motorola. “The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 represents an incredible opportunity to showcase not only the world’s best football clubs, but also the transformative potential of innovation. Through our infrastructure, devices – from smartphones to Lenovo PCS & servers, and services, we’ll help FIFA deliver a globally inclusive tournament for fans around the world.”

Lenovo’s tech powers the backstage action

Beyond the spotlight, Lenovo will play a critical role behind the scenes, powering tournament operations, content capture, and team collaboration. From advanced AI PCs to servers and infrastructure, the tech giant will help ensure a seamless experience for players, organizers, and fans worldwide.

“The inaugural FIFA Club World Cup will mark a new era in global club football – one that is inclusive, innovative and more connected than ever before. We’re delighted to have Motorola and Lenovo joining us for this groundbreaking tournament. Their world-class technology and global perspective will help elevate the experience for fans, teams and other stakeholders.”

Be part of football and tech history

This partnership continues Lenovo’s legacy of backing world-class sporting events with cutting-edge solutions. And for football fans? It’s a chance to witness the beginning of a new global tradition—fueled by smart devices and unforgettable match-ups.
