Appliance company Concepcion Midea Inc. is promoting a new lineup of AI-powered air conditioners to help Filipino households manage rising temperatures and electricity costs this summer.
Midea said its latest cooling products use artificial intelligence (AI) to adjust settings based on user habits while reducing unnecessary power consumption.
“Midea is redefining modern cooling with smart, energy-efficient solutions for Filipino homes and businesses,” said Anna Marie Alejandro, general manager of Concepcion Midea Inc. Philippines. “Committed to sustainability and excellence, we provide reliable, high-performance air conditioners built to withstand the country’s tough climate where efficiency and dependability matter most.”
Among the models highlighted is the Midea Avigator Full DC Inverter Series, which comes with Smart Control + AI Eco Master technology. The unit promises to deliver up to 40% electricity savings by automatically optimizing cooling performance.
For consumers looking for higher-end features, the Midea AirstillPro Full DC Inverter includes “Breezeless” cooling technology designed to reduce direct cold airflow while cooling rooms faster. Midea said the unit can lower room temperature by up to 5 degrees Celsius within 10 minutes.
The company also introduced the Midea Celest Full DC Inverter for homes in hotter urban or coastal areas. It features anti-corrosion coating, self-cleaning functions, and AI-powered energy management with claimed savings of up to 30%.
For smaller spaces such as condominiums and apartments, Midea is offering the compact Qube window-type inverter air conditioner and the Window/Split Series, which combines features of split-type and window-type units.
All models can be managed through the Midea SmartHome App, which allows users to control settings, create schedules, and monitor performance using a smartphone.
