Last December 13, DJI and Li Auto took to the mountains of Antipolo to showcase the capabilities of their latest innovations through a workshop, highlighting the ways in which their devices and vehicles can be utilized in an outdoor setting.
At Camp Morri, a group of people came together to witness and experience the ‘Road to Creation,’ a content creation and outdoor workshop that persevered despite the unpredictable weather.
I had the opportunity to experience these innovations firsthand, and I left with something that lasts, and it’s the abilities of both the vehicles Li Auto showcased and the versatility of DJI’s devices that could improve our outdoor adventures through technology.
The Li Auto L9

The event showcased the new Li Auto L9, a vehicle designed to navigate the roughest and even the remotest Philippine landscapes, striking a balance between modernity and comfort when it comes to off-road trips and remote camping sites.
The L9 boasts weather-resistant materials with a smart and modular design, as showcased by the vehicle’s performance in the very harsh conditions it faced on the way to Camp Morri. The L9 was also designed to withstand the Philippines’ tropical heat and humidity, providing a seamless transition between city and off-road destinations.
The DJI Osmo Action 6

Through a program led by Giancarlo Viterbo from Gadget Pilipinas, the DJI Osmo Action 6 took to the center stage as Viterbo highlighted his experience with the tiny yet powerful action camera.
From photography, content creation, or simply documenting your trips, the DJI Osmo Action 6 can handle it all, thanks to its variable aperture and the freedom to choose any aspect ratio, even without switching between photo and video orientations.
As part of the workshop, a Q&A session with Viterbo continued to highlight Action 6 and how it performed during various use cases, including travel, adventure, and content creation. The Q&A also allowed fellow media attendees to understand how the camera adapts to certain conditions.
The DJI Power 2000

Powering the entire event was the DJI Power 2000, a portable power solution used to run the lighting, various cooking tools, as well as the mobile devices that kept the event running. The DJI Power 2000 was designed for various Philippine conditions, featuring intelligent mobility and portability.
Through the DJI Power 2000’s design, the campsite was able to run smoothly from morning until early evening, highlighting its use case in a real outdoor setup. This also underscores the Power 2000’s versatility in emergency situations.
