ASUS Republic of Gamers today announced the new ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W and ROG Strix OLED XG27AQWMG monitors featuring Tandem OLED technology that offers 15% higher peak brightness, 25% wider color volume, and a 60% longer lifespan versus previous-generation WOLED monitors.

ROG is the No.1 OLED gaming monitor globally. This success can be directly attributed to the pioneering spirit of ROG and continuous efforts to provide breakthrough technologies for gamers. Proprietary custom heatsinks, Neo Proximity Sensor burn-in safeguards, HDR-optimizing firmware, TrueBlack Glossy, and many other leading-edge features make ROG the go-to monitor choice for gamers everywhere.

Both PG27AQWP-W and XG27AQWMG boast superfast 0.03ms gray-to-gray (GTG) response time, VESA DisplayHDR™ 500 True Black compliance, and 99.5% DCI-P3 gamut. The ROG TrueBlack Glossy coating enables the monitors to showcase supersharp imagery and the deepest black hues. In addition, built-in ASUS OLED Care Pro with the advanced Neo Proximity Sensor helps protect and ensure the longevity of the panel.

    ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W

The 26.5-inch QHD ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W monitor is the world’s fastest OLED monitor[ii] with a native 540Hz refresh rate. The PG27AQWP-W stands out with its versatile dual mode, allowing users to switch between ultrasmooth QHD@540Hz or HD@720Hz visuals. The monitor features Tandem WOLED technology for brighter, more colorful visuals and a longer OLED lifespan versus previous-gen WOLED monitors. Plus, the new TrueBlack Glossy coating offers supersharp imagery and the deepest black hues in any environment.

The PG27AQWP-W has an extensive host of connectivity options including DisplayPort™ 2.1a UHBR20 with full 80Gbps bandwidth and HDMI® 2.1. It also features a tripod socket. In addition, VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black compliance, 99.5% DCI-P3 gamut, true 10-bit color, and Delta E<2 color difference provide astonishing HDR performance, making the PG27AQWP-W ideal for gaming as well as photo and video editing.

The OLED Care Pro suite’s advanced Neo Proximity Sensor precisely detects the user’s distance from the monitor and transitions to a black image to guard against panel burn-in when the user steps away. It then instantly restores the onscreen content when the user returns. Detection distance can be customized to suit personal preference, ensuring maximum convenience and protection.

From a design perspective, the PG27AQWP-W has a sturdy stand with a stylish silver finish and a half-transparent back panel gives it an aesthetic that stands out in any setup.

    ROG Strix OLED XG27AQWMG

The 26.5-inch QHD ROG Strix OLED XG27AQWMG monitor boasts a 280Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms response time, and a new compact stand that’s 30% smaller than those found on previous 27-inch XG monitors.

Like the aforementioned PG27AQWP-W, the XG27AQWMG features new Tandem OLED technology for 15% higher peak brightness, 25% wider color volume, and a 60% longer OLED lifespan compared to previous-generation WOLED monitors. VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black compliance, 99.5% DCI-P3 gamut, true 10-bit color, and Delta E<2 color difference offer astonishing HDR performance, making this monitor perfect monitor for gaming and creative pursuits.

To ensure longevity of the OLED panel, the advanced Neo Proximity sensor uses wavelength detection to accurately measure the user’s distance to the monitor and automatically switches to a black screen when the user is away. The XG27AQWMG is compatible with a wide range of input sources via DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC), HDMI 2.1, and USB Hub.

It also features a tripod socket.

ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG Gen 2

The XG27AQDMG Gen 2 is a 26.5-inch QHD WOLED monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms (GTG) response time.

It includes the TrueBlack Glossy coating to provide sharper visuals and deep black hues. The XG27AQDMG Gen 2 also includes the Neo Proximity Sensor to reduce the risk of burn-in. VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black compliance, 99% DCI-P3 gamut, true 10-bit color, and Delta E<2 color difference ensure astonishing HDR performance, making the XG27AQDMG Gen 2 well-suited for gaming, graphic design or video production.

The XG27AQDMG Gen 2 features a new compact stand that is 30% smaller than those found on previous 27-inch XG monitors. Extensive connectivity options include DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC), HDMI 2.1, and a USB Hub.
