Hey, Apple fans!
Apple has expanded its desktop lineup with the release of new iMac and Mac Mini models, each featuring Apple’s latest M4 chip, delivering enhanced performance for both personal and professional use.
Here’s a breakdown of what these new devices bring to the table.
iMac: A Boost in Power and Design
The updated 24-inch iMac now runs on the M4 chip, designed to provide smoother performance for a wide range of tasks, from intensive creative projects to daily multitasking.
The M4 chip boosts processing capabilities with faster CPU and GPU cores compared to previous models, supporting up to two 6K displays or one 8K display.
Users can choose from several vibrant colors, allowing for a personalized and stylish setup that complements its all-in-one form factor. Here in the Philippines, the new iMac starts at ₱69,990.
Mac Mini: Compact Yet Capable with M4 and M4 Pro Options
Apple also upgraded the Mac Mini, which now comes in two configurations: the base M4 and the more powerful M4 Pro.
The M4 Pro version introduces accelerated ray tracing, a feature that improves graphical performance, particularly for tasks requiring realistic visuals. With options for up to 8TB of storage and 64GB of RAM, the Mac Mini caters to users with a broad spectrum of performance needs. Connectivity is another standout, with both models supporting multiple displays and Thunderbolt 4 or Thunderbolt 5 ports, ensuring adaptability for various setups.
Philippine pricing starts at ₱36,990 for the base M4 Mac Mini with 256GB storage, ₱48,990 for the 512GB version, and ₱84,990 for the M4 Pro configuration.
What This Means for Users
With these updates, Apple’s iMac and Mac Mini deliver powerful, flexible desktop options.
The iMac combines a splash of color with enhanced performance, appealing to creatives and daily users, while the Mac Mini provides high-speed processing in a compact design.
Both models are now available for pre-order in the U.S., with orders expected to ship in early November. In the Philippines, availability details are still being confirmed, so customers are encouraged to check with Apple’s local site for updates.
