    6 Things You’ll Want To Know About The New ROG Ally X

    Hey gamers! This is JUST IN! The ROG Ally X, recently unveiled at Computex 2024, is an upgraded version of the original ROG Ally handheld gaming console by ASUS. This new model, while not a complete overhaul, brings several improvements you’ll want to know about:

    #6 – Increased RAM

    The ROG Ally X comes with 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM, which is a 50% increase over its predecessor and its competitors like the Steam Deck and Lenovo Legion Go​.

    #5 – Battery Life

    The new model boasts a battery capacity increase of 30-40%, which ASUS claims will double the playtime compared to the original model​.

    #4 – Storage

    It supports NVMe M.2 SSDs with options up to a whopping 8TB, providing ample storage for games and media​.

    #3 – Processor

    It continues to use the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme APU, featuring 8 cores and 16 threads, with a maximum clock speed of 5.1 GHz. This processor includes 12 RDNA 3 computing units and 24 MB of cache​.

    #2 – Display and Design

    The ROG Ally X retains the 7-inch 1080p 120Hz display. It also has improved internal layout changes to address issues like the SD card overheating problem present in the original model​.

    #1 – Price

    The expected price for the ROG Ally X is $799, making it slightly more expensive than the original version.
