Hey gamers! This is JUST IN! The ROG Ally X, recently unveiled at Computex 2024, is an upgraded version of the original ROG Ally handheld gaming console by ASUS. This new model, while not a complete overhaul, brings several improvements you’ll want to know about:

    #6 – Increased RAM

The ROG Ally X comes with 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM, which is a 50% increase over its predecessor and its competitors like the Steam Deck and Lenovo Legion Go.

    #5 – Battery Life

The new model boasts a battery capacity increase of 30-40%, which ASUS claims will double the playtime compared to the original model.

    #4 – Storage

It supports NVMe M.2 SSDs with options up to a whopping 8TB, providing ample storage for games and media.

    #3 – Processor

It continues to use the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme APU, featuring 8 cores and 16 threads, with a maximum clock speed of 5.1 GHz. This processor includes 12 RDNA 3 computing units and 24 MB of cache.

    #2 – Display and Design

The ROG Ally X retains the 7-inch 1080p 120Hz display. It also has improved internal layout changes to address issues like the SD card overheating problem present in the original model.

    #1 – Price

The expected price for the ROG Ally X is $799, making it slightly more expensive than the original version.

    What say you?

So what do you think about the new improvements? Is it worth the upgrade?

These enhancements aim to make the ROG Ally X a more powerful and efficient handheld gaming device, capable of providing a better gaming experience with longer battery life and more memory.

The official unveiling and further details were provided during Computex 2024, giving us gamers a lot to look forward to.
