Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Watch 6 Active in the Philippines, offering an AMOLED screen, fitness and health tracking, and up to 18 days of battery life for Php 2,599.
The smartwatch is designed for students, young professionals, and first-time smartwatch buyers who want basic health and connectivity features at a lower price.
Its 1.85-inch rectangular AMOLED display has a resolution of 390 x 450 pixels and reaches up to 1,200 nits of brightness, making the screen easier to read outdoors. It also supports an always-on display for quickly checking the time and other information.
The watch tracks heart rate around the clock, blood oxygen levels, and stress. It can also suggest guided breathing exercises when needed. Its IP68 rating protects it from sweat, rain, and splashes.n
Bluetooth calling allows users to answer calls from the watch when it is connected to a smartphone. This can be useful during commutes, workouts, or other situations when reaching for a phone is inconvenient.
The Redmi Watch 6 Active has a 470 mAh battery that can last up to 18 days with light use or up to 12 days with normal daily use.
At 9.9 millimeters thick, the watch uses a lightweight polymer body and a TPU strap. Its quick-release strap design also makes it easier to change straps.
The Redmi Watch 6 Active is now available in the Philippines for Php 2,599.
