Xiaomi has introduced the REDMI A7 Pro in the Philippines, the first “Pro” smartphone under the REDMI A Series lineup, designed for users who want a larger screen, longer battery life, and smoother performance without spending too much.

The REDMI A7 Pro features a 6.9-inch display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, making scrolling, streaming, and casual gaming feel smoother compared to standard 60Hz displays. Xiaomi said the screen can reach up to 800 nits brightness for better visibility outdoors.

The smartphone also comes with Wet Touch Technology 2.0, allowing the screen to remain responsive even when fingers are wet or oily. Xiaomi added triple TÜV Rheinland eye-comfort certifications and DC dimming to reduce eye strain during extended use.

The REDMI A7 Pro is equipped with a 6000mAh battery that Xiaomi said can last more than two days on a single charge. The battery can support up to 49 hours of calls, 35 hours of video playback, and 77 hours of music playback. Xiaomi also said the battery is designed to retain more than 80% of its capacity after 1,000 charging cycles.

Powering the smartphone is an octa-core processor paired with UFS 2.2 storage for faster app loading and smoother daily performance. The device also supports up to 8GB RAM expansion for improved multitasking.

The REDMI A7 Pro is also the first in the REDMI A Series to run Xiaomi HyperOS 3. The operating system includes Google Gemini support, Circle to Search with Google, Xiaomi HyperIsland multitasking features, and Xiaomi Interconnectivity for easier connection with other Xiaomi devices.

For photography, the device carries a 13MP AI dual rear camera and an 8MP front camera. Xiaomi said the upgraded sensor captures 13% more light for brighter photos, especially in low-light conditions. Both front and rear cameras support night mode.

The phone also includes AI Sky editing tools and a Document Mode feature that can scan receipts, notes, and other documents.

Xiaomi designed the REDMI A7 Pro with an 8.15mm slim body and a prismatic lens ring. Other features include NFC support, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and 200% volume boost.

The REDMI A7 Pro is available in Black, Mist Blue, and Palm Green.

    From May 22 to June 30, the 4GB + 64GB model is priced at ₱5,599, while the 4GB + 128GB variant costs ₱6,599.
