Guia Learning Solutions Inc. (Guia), an AI solutions provider, today announces the launch of its first platform focused on the education sector — and its first offering is designed to help senior high school students prepare for college entrance examinations.

It is that season again. Graduating senior high school students are gearing up for college entrance exams as they aspire to study in their dream schools. Top universities such as the University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, the University of Santo Tomas, among others, all require students to pass competitive entrance examinations. Thousands of students will be vying for a limited number of slots — and the pressure to be ready has never been greater.

The challenge is real. Students are either anxious because they feel underprepared, or they simply do not know where to begin their review. Traditional review centers remain the most common option — but with the high cost of fuel and centers located primarily within major cities, many students have limited options available.

    Guia changes that.

Guia is an AI-powered platform that helps students prepare for upcoming college entrance exams. The platform gives students access to more than 5,000 teacher-validated test questions — making it the largest test bank of its kind for college entrance test preparation. Guia covers Math, Science, Reading Comprehension, Language Proficiency, and Abstract Reasoning.

In a press conference held in Makati City, CEO Marc Joseph Cruz shares the real value of Guia.

“The moment a student completes a mock exam, Guia generates a personalized study plan and a detailed results breakdown showing exactly how he/she performed across each subject — strengths, areas for improvement, and a clear day-by-day plan for what to study next. Because Guia is fully digital, students can access the platform from any device, from anywhere — no commute, no travel cost, no geographic limitation.”

Guia is built on a responsible AI framework. Every question on the platform is hand-crafted and validated by educators — ensuring that AI powers personalization and precision, while human judgment remains at the center of the content students learn from.

User results have shown that students who used Guia significantly improved their readiness and confidence in preparing for college entrance exams. During early Pilot Programs, students improved their subject proficiency by up to 85% in Mathematics, 83% in Language Proficiency, 56% in Reading Comprehension, and 54% in Science – all because of Guia.

Beyond individual students, Guia is actively partnering with educational institutions through its College Entrance Test Readiness Pilot Program.

“We organize pilot programs with schools and provide support to help students and teachers get the most out of the platform. We see schools as essential partners in this mission,” says Cruz.

Interested schools can reach out via e-mail: [email protected].  For partner schools, Guia turns student assessment data into practical institutional insight, providing cohort-level analytics and actionable recommendations that help educators and school administrators identify strengths, learning gaps, and areas of concern, then design targeted interventions based on real student performance.

    The Mission Behind Guia

Guia began from a concern familiar to many Filipino families — how to help a child prepare for some of the country’s most competitive college entrance exams, where thousands of students vie for limited slots in top universities. Its founders set out to solve this with AI: building a platform that could process each student’s exam results and turn it into a clear, personalized path forward — so that no student would have to walk into exam day unsure if they were ready.

Guia was not built in a boardroom. It was built by a team of technologists, AI practitioners, educators, and co-developed with students who shared one frustration — watching students work incredibly hard, only to walk into the most important exam of their lives without the tools to truly know if they were ready.

“We didn’t set out to build just another review platform,” says Simon Villalon, Guia Co-Founder.

“We focused on a simple but important gap — helping students understand where they stand, so they can prepare with clarity and direction.”

That mission drives every decision at Guia: the teacher-validated question bank, the fully digital access, the personalized study plan powered by AI.

    Getting Started

Creating a Guia account is free. The free version gives students access to a selection of practice tests from its extensive test catalogue and a limited number of mock exams. For students who want full access, Guia offers a premium subscription with unlimited mock exams, the complete test bank of more than 5,000 questions (and growing), and a personalized study plan updated after every exam session.

To mark its launch, Guia is announcing a special promo rate of 30% less off the regular price across all paid plans until 31 December 2026. Students can access the “Premium Plan” for 12 months at as low as ₱875/month (billed upfront annually).

Activation of the account is free at www.guiaguide.com. Simply use the Promo Code,

    “GuiaLaunch30” on checkout.
