Amid growing competition from TikTok and YouTube, Meta-owned Facebook is launching Creator Fast Track, a new program that aims to help content creators fast-track growth and earnings on the platform.

This new offering promises guaranteed pay and increased reach for eligible reels, the company said in its blog post.

The program targets creators who have built followings on other platforms but are starting fresh or rediscovering Facebook. Participants receive three months of guaranteed pay and boosted reach on eligible reels, helping them grow followers faster while joining Facebook Content Monetization.

In 2025, Facebook said it paid almost $3 billion to creators through its monetization programs, a 35% increase from the previous year and its highest annual total to date. The Creator Fast Track program aims to enable creators to earn $1,000 per month with at least 100,000 followers on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube, or $3,000 per month for those with over a million followers on one platform.

The program gives creators immediate access to Facebook Content Monetization, allowing them to continue earning from reels, Stories, and photo and text posts even after the fast-track period ends. Based on the company’s data, last year, 60% of payouts went to reels, while the remainder went to Stories, photos, and text posts.

Facebook is also introducing new metrics to help creators understand and maximize earnings, including Qualified View for monetizable views, Earnings Rate per 1,000 qualified views, and Non-Qualified Views showing why certain views don’t earn money.

By expanding monetization opportunities and rewarding original content for engagement and watch time, Facebook said that it hopes to make it easier for creators to turn their work into full-time careers or profitable side hustles. The company said that the number of creators earning over $10,000 annually on Facebook has grown by more than 30% year-over-year, underscoring the platform’s commitment to the creator economy.
