HUAWEI is set to bring its MatePad 11.5 S 2026 to the Philippine market, expanding its tablet lineup with a device positioned as a laptop-style productivity alternative for students and young professionals.

The tablet will be offered as a bundled setup that includes a magnetic keyboard, third-generation M-Pencil stylus, and wireless mouse, forming what the company describes as a four-in-one work configuration.

One of its headline features is the updated third-generation PaperMatte display, which uses nano-etched anti-glare technology designed to reduce reflections and screen sparkle.

HUAWEI says the display will improve visibility during long periods of reading, writing, and online work, particularly in bright environments.

The MatePad 11.5 S 2026 also runs a desktop-style version of WPS Office 3.0, allowing users to create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations in a layout similar to a traditional PC interface.

The device supports split-screen multitasking, enabling users to work across apps simultaneously.

For note-taking and creative work, the bundled M-Pencil supports over 10,000 levels of pressure sensitivity.

The tablet integrates AI-assisted tools within HUAWEI Notes, including handwriting refinement, equation recognition, and note replay functions that sync audio recordings with written notes.

Under the hood, the device packs an 8,800 mAh battery with 40W fast charging support and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. It measures 6.1 mm thin and weighs 515 grams, making it portable for daily commuting and hybrid work setups.

HUAWEIhas opened early-bird promotions ahead of the official launch. From Feb. 9 to 18, buyers who place a P100 deposit through HUAWEI’s online store can receive a PHP 2,000 discount. Additional vouchers are also available via the brand’s official stores on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.

Pricing details and the official release date in the Philippines have yet to be announced.
