Acer rolled into IFA 2025 in Berlin, Germany with a full deck of AI-powered hardware and sleek productivity tools, covering everything from ultralight laptops to compact workstations, and even breakthroughs in medical AI.

#1 — Chromebook Plus Spin 514 and Chromeboxes
Leading the ChromeOS lineup is the Acer Chromebook Plus Spin 514 (CP514-5HN) — Acer’s first Chromebook powered by the MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 processor with an integrated NPU delivering up to 50 TOPS of AI performance. This 14-inch convertible comes in WQXGA+ (2880 x 1800) or WUXGA (1920 x 1200) touchscreen options with USI 2.0 stylus support and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It’s slim at 15.5 mm, light at 1.36 kg, and can run for up to 17 hours on a single charge.
Other highlights include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, a choice of 5MP or 1080p webcams with AI-enhanced video tools, and dual upward-firing stereo speakers with DTS Audio. Buyers also get a 12-month Google AI Pro subscription with 2 TB cloud storage.
For desktops, Acer launched two new Chromeboxes:
- Chromebox CXI6 — powered by up to an Intel Core 7 150U, supporting up to four monitors, five USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, dual HDMI, and Wi-Fi 6E.
- Chromebox Mini CXM2 — a fanless ultra-compact model with an Intel Core 3 N350, support for three monitors, and a full suite of USB 3.2 and HDMI ports.
#2 — Swift Air 16: Ultralight Copilot+ PC
The new Swift Air 16 (SFA16-61M) is Acer’s answer to professionals who want performance without bulk. Weighing just 0.99 kg (IPS variant) and housed in a magnesium-aluminum alloy chassis, it’s one of the lightest 16-inch laptops ever made.
Under the hood: up to an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor with integrated AMD Radeon 860M graphics, paired with up to 32 GB LPDDR5 memory and 1 TB PCIe Gen4 SSD storage. It promises up to 13 hours of use on its 50 Wh battery.
Display options include a 16-inch WQXGA+ AMOLED with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and 400 nits brightness, or a more power-efficient WUXGA IPS at 60 Hz. Both use a 16:10 aspect ratio for more vertical workspace. Connectivity includes dual USB-C (full function), USB 3.2 Type-A, HDMI 1.4, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.4.
#3 — Tablets, monitors, and wi-Fi 7 router
On the Android side, Acer expanded the Iconia series:
- Iconia X12 — 12.6-inch AMOLED (2560×1600, 60 Hz), powered by a MediaTek Helio G99, up to 8 GB RAM/256 GB storage, and 16 hours battery life. Weighs just 500 g and supports optional keyboard and stylus.
- Iconia X14 — 14-inch OLED (FHD) with built-in NPU, up to 8 GB RAM, 256 GB storage, and AI features like gesture control, posture sensing, and “Smile Camera.”
- Iconia A16/A14 — 16- and 14-inch IPS FHD displays with tripod-style kickstands, powered by processors with NPUs, up to 8 GB RAM/256 GB storage, and 10-hour battery life.
For displays, Acer introduced two amadana monitors with minimalist Japanese-inspired designs — a 15.6-inch portable (1920×1080, 60 Hz) and a 27-inch ZeroFrame IPS (1920×1080, 144 Hz) — plus the Acer CE270U Z, a 26.5-inch OLED with 280 Hz refresh rate, 0.03 ms response time, 1000 nits HDR, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.
Networking got an upgrade with the Acer Connect T36 Wi-Fi 7 Dual-Band Mesh Router, powered by a quad-core ARM processor and supporting up to 3,600 Mbps speeds, mesh scalability, and automatic node-switching for seamless roaming.
#4 — TravelMate X14 AI and eco-friendly projectors
For business users, Acer launched the TravelMate X14 AI (TMX414-51) — a Copilot+ PC powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V, with 115 TOPS of overall performance, 32 GB LPDDR5X memory, and 1 TB PCIe Gen4 SSD.
At just 1.27 kg and 15.9 mm thin, the laptop passes MIL-STD 810H tests for durability. It offers a 14-inch WUXGA or OLED display (500 nits, HDR-certified), and connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, Gigabit Ethernet, and multiple USB ports. Security features like Acer UserSensing 2.0 and ProShield Plus help keep data safe.
Complementing it are three new eco-conscious Vero projectors:
- Vero XL2320p (WXGA, 4,000 lumens)
- Vero XL2521 (1080p, 4,000 lumens)
- Vero SL2520n (1080p short-throw, 100-inch image at 1.1 m)
All feature 30,000-hour laser lifespans, 50% recycled plastic chassis, 360° projection, 4-corner keystone correction, and built-in 15W speakers.
#5 — Veriton GN100: AI mini workstation
Finally, Acer pulled the wraps off the Veriton GN100, an AI mini workstation built around the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip. Despite its compact size (150 x 150 x 50 mm, <1.5 kg), it delivers up to 1 PFLOPS of FP4 AI performance, with 20 Arm-based CPU cores, 128 GB unified memory, and 4 TB NVMe SSD storage.
Developers get NVIDIA’s full AI software stack pre-installed, supporting PyTorch, Jupyter, Ollama, and more. Thanks to NVIDIA ConnectX-7 SmartNIC, two units can be linked to handle AI models with up to 405 billion parameters. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, four USB-C, HDMI 2.1b, and Ethernet, with a Kensington lock for security.
#6 — Acer Medical’s aiMed: Generative AI for healthcare
Acer Medical unveiled aiMed, a generative AI medical documentation system that automates clinical record-keeping, converting voice or text notes into structured EMRs. It aims to reduce burnout, cut documentation errors, and give doctors more time with patients.
Also showcased was VeriSee, Acer’s AI-assisted ophthalmology platform, which analyzes retinal images for diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and glaucoma. Already deployed in over 500 clinics across 14 markets, VeriSee delivers results in seconds for faster intervention.
#7 — Nitro Gaming Lineup: Laptops, desktops, and displays
Gamers weren’t left out. Acer’s Nitro V 16 and Nitro V 16S laptops pack up to Intel Core 9 270H CPUs and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPUs, with WQXGA 180 Hz displays, DLSS 4 support, and advanced cooling systems.
On desktops, the Nitro 70 (AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D, RTX 5090, up to 128 GB DDR5) and Nitro 50 (Ryzen 7 8700G, RTX 5080) deliver extreme power with Acer’s CycloneX 360 cooling and sustainable chassis using 65% recycled plastic.
The Nitro monitor lineup expanded with:
- XV275K V6 (27-inch 4K, 180 Hz, HDR1000, 97% DCI-P3)
- XV273U W1 (27-inch WQHD, 275 Hz overclock, HDR500)
- XV270X (27-inch 5K, 72 Hz)
- XZ403CKR (39.7-inch curved 5K, 180 Hz, 0.5 ms GTG).
