Huawei has released its latest phone for the value-focused segment. The Huawei nova Y73 now retails for just P9,999. For that amount, users get a feature packed-phone with one of the largest battery capacities at 6,620 mAh for all-day usage with a 40W fast charging.

Even at its price segment, the phone is built to withstand the daily rigors of life with its enhanced structural design and aerospace-grade aluminum alloy build. The phone can withstand up to a 1.8m drop and 65kg of pressure giving it a 5-star drop resistance rating from SGS. Thanks to its IP64 dust and water resistance, the nova Y73 can withstand dusty environments and light water exposure. With the Splash Touch, users can expect accurate touch screen operation even with wet hands or even when using in the rain.

The nova Y73 has a 6.67-inch eye comfort display with a 90Hz refresh rate with 1604 x 720 HD+ resolution and 1000 nits of brightness. A smooth screen dimming control adjusts the screen to ambient light for less eye strain in low light conditions.

The Huawei X-Button on the side is a handy shortcut for launching apps, controlling smart tools, and making quick calls. A rare feature in most smartphones, the nova Y73 has a built-in IR blaster for instantly controlling TVs, air conditioners, and set top boxes. The X-Button can also be used to quickly access frequently used apps like the calculator, camera, and the flashlight.

Rounding off the phone’s feature set is a 50MP AI-powered camera with Super Night Shot. At the front is an 8MP shooter for selfies and video calls. The Huawei nova Y73 is now available at Huawei Experience Stores, and official Shopee, Lazada, TikTok shops. Customers who purchase via HomeCredit with 30% down payment can get a free Huawei Band worth up to Php 2,399 until July 31.
