Fast to First—And then some: Infinix NOTE 50 Pro full review

If you’re the type who lives life in fast-forward between gaming sessions, work tasks, and catching up on life, then the Infinix NOTE 50 Pro might just be your next phone.

It’s not pretending to be a flagship. It’s not pretending to be a budget phone either. It’s that balance where gaming performance meets functional day-to-day use, all wrapped in a surprisingly premium metal body that’s under Php 12K.

Full disclosure before we start: I’ve been reviewing the NOTE series for a while now, and the last one I got my hands on was the Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G Racing Edition. That phone brought a touch of luxury with its sleek BMW-inspired design and impressive performance.

So naturally, I was curious to see where Infinix would go next with the NOTE 50 Pro, and wow, did they take things up a notch.

Charging: Fast to First, Literally

First things first: yes, this phone charges fast. We’re talking 90W wired charging and 30W wireless MagCharge.

On paper, you get 0 to 100% in just 44 minutes (wired) or 1 hour and 43 minutes (wireless). And no, it’s not just for show. It comes with a 5200mAh battery, so you’re not topping off a small tank here.

Bonus? You can share that battery love with friends via reverse charging—10W wired and 7.5W wireless.

Design: Not Just a Pretty Face

Infinix took inspiration from automotive manufacturing (again, much like what they did with the Racing Edition) and used an ArmorAlloy™ metal frame. It’s lighter than stainless steel but stronger than your typical plastic build, and it feels sturdy in-hand. It’s also TÜV SÜD certified for drop resistance, so it’s got actual street cred.

The edges are smooth, the polish is sleek, and it just looks good.

Gaming: Built for CODM Warriors

Call of Duty: Mobile players, take notes. This phone is a Call of Duty®: Mobile Performance Edition, which is not just a fancy marketing term. It features a 144Hz AMOLED display, 24GB extended RAM, Helio G100 chip, VC cooling system, and XBOOST Game Assistant.

Translation? Smooth visuals, precise touch, and solid thermal performance even when you’re going ham with ultimates. It has Super WiFi 2.0 and optimized Bluetooth audio which means lower lag during team fights and better streaming when you need to flex those kills.

Infinix AI: More Than a Buzzword

AI on the NOTE 50 Pro isn’t just about photos. It’s baked into the whole experience:

▪️One-Tap AI Folax for screen queries, quick commands, and even WhatsApp actions.

▪️AI Privacy Masking to hide sensitive info in screenshots.

▪️AI Creation tools like photo eraser, long-text summarizer, and even sketch-to-image generation for creatives.

It’s the kind of AI that’s not trying to be a gimmick—it’s just quietly helpful.

Cameras: Solid Enough for the Gram

You’re getting a 50MP Night Master main camera with 2μm pixels and OIS. It captures clean shots even in low light, has a 2X lossless zoom for portraits, and supports Street Mode with a quick double-tap shortcut.

The 112° ultra-wide lens is great for travel and group shots. The filters are nice touches too—Bright, Retro, B&W, and Time for some built-in aesthetic edits.

Display: A Feast for the Eyes

A 144Hz AMOLED display at this price point is a win. The 6.78″ screen is responsive, crisp, and goes up to 1300 nits—great for gaming or binge-watching even under sunlight.

And because we’re not about that eye-strain life, the display is Rhein-certified for low blue light, with 2304Hz PWM dimming for comfort in dim settings.

Extra Features: For the Tita and Tito Techies Too

▪️Bio-Active Halo AI Lighting with health sensors: You can check your blood oxygen and heart rate with a quick tap. (Like I said, for the Titos and Titas)

▪️JBL-tuned dual speakers: Clean sound for everything from Zoom calls to anime intros.

▪️IP64 resistance: Splash-proof and dust-resistant, because accidents happen.

▪️NFC and IR Remote Control: Pay for coffee and turn on the TV—why not?

Would I Recommend It?

After reviewing the NOTE 40 and seeing how Infinix is leveling up the series, the NOTE 50 Pro feels like a confident leap forward. Hardcore charging, smooth gameplay, intelligent AI tools, and a design that actually feels premium in the hand.

This phone proudly lives up to its “Fast to First” slogan—bringing first-in-class features at a price point that’s surprisingly accessible.
