Infinix NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G Racing Edition: A More Luxurious Take on the Original

Alright, let’s talk about the Infinix NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G Racing Edition.

Every year, Infinix drops a racing edition of one of their phones, and this time, it’s the NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G getting the spotlight.

Infinix sent over a PR Kit of the NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G Racing Edition a few weeks ago, and as usual, the unboxing experience just made me go, “Woweee!”.

If you love a satisfying unboxing moment, this one’s it.

The kit came with the whole shebang — wireless charger, earbuds, smart watch, and more.

(Please note that if you purchase the Infinix NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G Racing Edition, it only comes with the boxed unit along with its regular accessories such as cable, case, charging adaptor and warranty leaflets)

Truth be told, there’s not a whole lot of difference between the specs of the racing edition and the original one, so let me point you over to our previous Infinix NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G review for our take on the phone specs, performance and first impressions.

However, if we’re talking about how the phone looks, that’s an entirely different story.

Instead of the green faux leather back, the racing edition comes in a sleeker brushed Gold color (there’s also a Racing Grey version) giving it a more luxurious vibe.

True to its collaboration with the BMW Design Group, the Racing Edition features a distinctive look with a focus on sleek, automotive-inspired aesthetics.

The Infinix NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G Racing Edition sells for the same price as the original (currently priced at PHP 14,159.00 as of this writing, in Shopee)

    Why Buy The Racing Edition?

If you’re particularly fond of the Infinix NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G but want it in a more elegant version, then the Racing Edition is an excellent choice.

A stylish phone, with decent specs at an affordable price? Definitely can’t go wrong with that.

As it’s already September, it’s time to start working on our Christmas shopping list! I personally think that the Infinix NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G Racing Edition is a good gift idea for your Dad or your significant other.
