realme released the realme 16 Series 5G in the Philippines, expanding its lineup with three models: realme 16 Pro+ 5G, realme 16 Pro 5G, and realme 16 5G.
The Pro variants carry a 200MP Multi-focal LumaColor camera system aimed at improving detail across different zoom levels. The realme 16 Pro+ 5G includes a 50MP 3.5x telephoto lens for portrait and zoom shots, while the realme 16 Pro 5G uses the same 200MP main sensor without the telephoto lens.
The realme 16 5G uses a dual 50MP camera setup with a Sony IMX852 sensor, best for everyday photography.
Across the lineup, realme added AI (artificial intelligence) editing features such as AI Edit Genie 2.0, AI Instant Clip, and AI Portrait Glow, which allow on-device photo editing and quick sharing.
All three models are equipped with a 7000mAh battery. The Pro variants support 80W SUPERVOOC charging.
The realme 16 Pro+ 5G runs on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, while the realme 16 Pro 5G uses a Dimensity 7300 Max chip. The base model runs on Dimensity 6400 Turbo. Each device includes a vapor chamber cooling system.
The Pro models feature AMOLED displays with up to 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 6,500 nits. The realme 16 5G has a 120Hz AMOLED display.
The series carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
Prices start at ₱25,999 for the realme 16 5G and go up to ₱43,999 for the realme 16 Pro+ 5G. Pre-orders run until April 30 with bundled freebies and discounts. Shopee promotions offer up to ₱9,000 off for a limited period.
