One of the most anticipated events on the horizon is the first-ever Philippine Game Show – organized by the combined might of MQLive and CBZN Perspective and aiming to promote events and activities from the worlds of gaming, cosplay, content creators, and more in one big convention happening this coming November.

Attending the MediaCon and KOL (Key Opinion Leader) Day last October 21st at the 12 Monkeys Music Hall and Pub over at Estancia Mall at Pasig, I joined dozens of media representatives and influencers as we were shown highlights of what to expect from the inaugural event. Hosted by popular streamer, gamer, and cosplayer Een as well as the organizers of the event, we were treated to a taste of things to come – including the introduction of PGS’ own mascot duo Rajee and Lucee, as well as short performances and musical numbers by some personalities who will be appearing in the con next month.

Highlighting the event will be a number of popular special guest and performers such as renowned Japanese voice actress Marika Kohno, Saya, Kamen Joshi, Project: Materia, Nanai Tatai, Agon, and more. Some of the country’s most popular cosplay personalities will also be present as well – including Myrtle Sarossa, ZackT, Roxanne Kho, Prince De Guzman, AWIE, Charess, and of course Een herself.

As the name implies, PGS will include some popular video games such as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Tekken 8, and Project SEKAI: Colorful Stage! – with tournaments being held to crown champions as well as offer prizes that will net the winners fantastic opportunities and rewards. Cosplay and anime related activities will also be present on the convention, with the big highlight being the World Cosplay Summit Philippines 2026 Finals. Those who emerge victorious will be given the opportunity to earn a chance to compete at the World Cosplay Summit 2026 itself.

The first Philippine Game Show will be held from November 14 to 16 at the SMX Convention Center at SM Aura in Taguig City.
