Huawei Philippines has just announced the availability of its latest wearable, the Huawei Watch 5. The new smartwatch combines advanced health and wellness features in a sleek casing crafted from premium materials. New to the Watch 5 is the Huawei X-Tap, a 3-in-1 sensor with advanced health measurement capabilities. X-Tap technology can detect varying levels of touch and pressure.

Holding the X-Tap sensor launches the Health Glance which can generate a health report covering 11 key health metrics in 60 seconds. The reports include emotional wellbeing, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), average heart rate, heart rate variability, skin temperature, stress levels, and respiratory health. Health Glance can be also used to analyze a user’s sleep patterns. The Watch 5 is also a full-featured watch for those with active lifestyles. It can support up to 100 sports modes including golf, 40-meter free diving, and trail running. The smartwatch also supports social running apps like Strava and other third party apps via Bluetooth.

With a dual battery system, the Watch 5 can work up to 7 days in Standard Mode and 11 days in Ultra-long Battery Life Mode. The smartwatch supports gesture controls such as swipe or pinch for answering/ending calls, managing music, setting alarms or remotely taking photos. For digital purchases, the Watch 5 supports GCASH QR payment via Watch Pay. Other advanced connectivity features include NFC, Wi-Fi, and support for eSIM calling.

The Huawei Watch 5 is available in 46mm and 42mm cases with slim bezels and a sleek silhouette. The 46mm version is encased in aerospace-grade titanium and the 42 mm is made from stainless steel. The AMOLED display on the Watch 5 is protected by a scratch-resistant and durable spherical sapphire crystal. The watch display with ultra-thin bezel has a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits.

The Huawei Watch 4 46mm is now available for Php 22,999 for the Black variant. The 46mm Purple variant and 42mm Beige variant both retail for Php 24,999. Customers who purchase the watch on Shopee, Huawei Online Store, Lazada, TikTok, and at any Huawei Experience Store get an exclusive gift bundle worth Php 7886 which includes a Huawei FreeBuds 5 headset and a 3-month Huawei Health+ subscription.
