foodpanda celebrates ‘Ka-panda ladies’ with Women on Wheels initiative

In celebration of Women’s Month, foodpanda logistics launched the ‘Ka-pandaBIZ: Women on Wheels (WoW)’ program benefitting its women delivery fleet by providing business training and a capital worth P100,000.

According to foodpanda logistics Philippines rider experience lead Ron Sanders, the said initiative, initially introduced in 2023, yielded optimistic results including a three-fold growth in the number of women foodpanda delivery partners.

“With Ka-pandaBIZ: WoW, we are not just celebrating women, we are actively working to enhance their productivity, income, and living standards,” he said.

With its partner organization HAPINOY, foodpanda will help women through the WoW program by hosting online training sessions, mentoring, and on-ground retail store visits.

Sanders also encouraged more women to become part of the foodpanda delivery fleet.

“We extend a warm invitation to all women interested in working as delivery partners at foodpanda logistics, and we’re fully committed to supporting and guiding them every step of the way,” he affirmed.
