Riot just dropped a new Sentinel, and he’s built different. Say hello to Veto, a Senegalese enforcer with a genetic mutation that lets him cancel out enemy powers and tech. Forget fancy gadgets—on his turf, it’s pure gunplay or nothing.
Here’s what he brings to the fight:
- Chokehold – Toss out a gooey fragment that traps enemies in place, hitting them with Deafen and Decay. They can shoot it before it pops, though, so time it right.
- Crosscut – Drop a vortex and teleport straight to it when things get spicy. You can even reclaim and redeploy it during the Buy Phase.
- Interceptor – Deploy a gadget that zaps any bouncing utility or throwable before it messes up your run. Enemies can destroy it if they spot it.
- Evolution (Ultimate) – Go full mutant mode. You get a combat stim, regeneration, and become immune to all debuffs.
Veto officially joins the roster October 7, 2025.
