With the increasing demand for artificial intelligence (AI) services, Ascendion, a global AI-driven software engineering company, has launched its Manila AI Studio. Located in Ayala North Exchange in Makati City, the newly-inaugurated facility will focus on innovation, collaborative artificial intelligence development, and software engineering research.

To enable the Philippines to become a major hub for AI-enhanced software development, Ascendion has also started other initiatives such as AI-enabled engineering teams that integrate AI agents which can assist engineers in software testing, risk mitigation, and code generation. Software engineers who work in Ascendion Philippines will receive specialized AI training and 100% AI certification.

“With one of the most tech-savvy populations in the world, the Philippines is uniquely positioned to lead the AI-powered digital transformation. Ascendion is committed to creating transformative digital solutions at a global scale and positioning the Philippines as a trailblazer in the next wave of digital innovation,” said Manan Mehta, Senior Vice President for Global Growth Markets at Ascendion.

Ascendion’s products and services are used across several industries such as banking and finance, media and entertainment, healthcare, travel and hospitality, and retail and consumer goods.

In order to build a stronger AI ecosystem in the country, Ascendion has integrated with Collabera Digital to expand its footprint in the Philippines and strengthen Manila’s position as the key center for AI-powered software engineering. This will include the hiring of more than 6,000 skilled AI-enabled workers in the next three years and providing AI-first software solutions to global enterprises.

With the launch of the Manila AI Studio, Ascendion is introducing two AI-driven platforms in the Philippines. First is the Ascendion AVA+, an AI-first software engineering accelerator for enhancing productivity, risk management and time-to-market. AVA+ is a proprietary AI platform that can provide specialized tools tailored to every step within the software development cycle.
