    NCC Group, a global cybersecurity company opens its first Philippine office in BGC

    Information assurance, source code escrow, and cybersecurity firm NCC Group opened its first office in Manila in a launch event last January 17. The formal office opening was held at its main headquarters in Seven/NEO office tower in Bonifacio Global City (BGC).

    The Philippine office is the company’s second office in Southeast Asia and occupies an entire floor in the building with complete facilities such as training and meeting rooms, work area, dining area, clinic, and even a basketball half court for its current roster of around 70 employees in the country. 

    Leading the Philippine office as Country Director is Saira Acuna, a Filipino IT executive whose career spans 15 years. Her previous position was the Head of Sales Operations and Client Experience for NCC Group APAC based in the company’s Sydney office. 

    In attendance were the NCC Group’s Global CEO, Mike Maddison, and Kevin Brown who is the company’s Chief Operating Officer. Other guests to the event included the Department of Justice Usec Geronimo L. Sy and Jack Madrid, the President and CEO of the IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines. 

    Leading the Philippine office as Country Director is Saira Acuna, a Filipino IT executive whose career spans 15 years. Her previous position was the Head of Sales Operations and Client Experience for NCC Group APAC based in the company’s Sydney office. 

    The NCC Group executives highlighted the company’s people-oriented culture and keen interest in working with the country’s top IT and cybersecurity talents and industry leaders. In his welcome note, Mike Maddison, the Global CEO said that “We are delighted to be expanding our global footprint with our new office in Manila. The city provides an impressive balance of highly educated tech and cyber capability and we are excited to welcome our new colleagues over the coming months.” 

    The NCC Group was established in 1999 and since then, it has grown into a publicly listed company with over 2,000 employees across Europe, North America, and Asia Pacific. It currently has over 14,000 clients worldwide with a stated revenue of GBP 314.8M in 2022.
