Hold on to your beloved PS4s, as spring 2026 may mark the beginning of the end for the console, as game developers start to withdraw support for their games on the platform next year. Last August, ‘Genshin Impact’ developers miHoYo announced the complete discontinuation of their support of the game next year, following the removal of the game from PlayStation Store last November. miHoYo stated in their formal announcement that they will begin to remove in-game purchases for Genshin Impact on February 25, 2025.
