HONOR Philippines is teasing a new foldable smartphone that the company says could change how people view premium foldable devices.
The company began teasing the upcoming flagship on Aug. 7, making it more than another phone with a folding screen. HONOR says the phone will combine a premium design, durability, and artificial intelligence (AI) features.
For consumers, the launch comes as foldable phones continue to move beyond their novelty factor. Manufacturers are increasingly competing on how useful, durable, and practical these devices are for everyday use, rather than simply how they fold.
HONOR has not yet disclosed the phone’s full specifications, price, or availability in the Philippines. The company is expected to reveal more details as the teaser campaign continues.
