Miss La Union Bea Millan-Windorski was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2026 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, one of the biggest pageant moments of the year while also putting a spotlight on the upcoming HONOR 600 smartphone.
During the coronation night, global AI smart devices provider HONOR Philippines confirmed that the HONOR 600 will officially launch in the Philippines on May 14, 2026. The device made a high-profile appearance throughout the event, as a key tool for capturing photos and videos during the pageant.
Millan-Windorski, who represented La Union, also received the special title of “Miss HONOR 600,” linking her win directly to the brand’s latest device. The smartphone was used during the competition, including behind-the-scenes moments with candidates, highlighting its artificial intelligence (AI) features aimed at content creation and social media use.
“The HONOR 600 represents our continued commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation while empowering users to express themselves confidently,” said Stephen Cheng, VP at HONOR Philippines. “Our partnership with Miss Universe Philippines 2026 reflects the spirit of the device, which is bold, intelligent, and inspiring.”
The collaboration between HONOR Philippines and the Miss Universe Philippines organization revolves around shared themes such as confidence, creativity, and individuality. These values were reflected not only in the candidates but also in how technology was integrated into the event experience.
Candidates were seen using the HONOR 600 ahead of coronation night, reinforcing its role as the pageant’s official mobile phone partner. The device’s AI-powered features were positioned as tools for fans and users to create and share content more easily.
“At Miss Universe Philippines, we love finding new ways to bring our fans closer to the excitement. We are tech-savvy and very engaged on social media platforms,” said Voltaire Tayag, executive vice president of the Miss Universe Philippines organization. “With the AI capabilities of the HONOR 600 Series, you can go beyond just watching and truly experience the journey.”
Following its debut at one of the country’s most-watched events, the HONOR 600 is set to enter the Philippine smartphone market on May 14. The company said the device will combine AI-driven features, design, and all-day performance, targeting users who rely heavily on mobile content creation and digital engagement.
