TCL maps out its next era of TV leadership with bigger screens and smarter AI-driven experiences

TCL has held the title of the Philippines’ No. 1 panel TV brand for two consecutive years, a position the company credits to a clear formula: innovate relentlessly, then make that innovation accessible.

“Our strategy focuses on relentless product innovation and upgrades, ensuring we consistently deliver premium technology, such as the C6KS QD-Mini LED, to Filipino families through favorable promotional offers,” said Charlie Huang, Deputy Product Director of Brownline at TCL.

    Global leadership guiding local direction

TCL earned multiple Global Top 1 rankings this year, including Ultra-Large TVs, Mini LED TVs, and Google TVs. These achievements, Huang noted, are more than accolades. They shape their Philippine strategy directly.

The Philippine market, where TCL first established itself 25 years ago, is now part of the company’s broader “All-Category” approach, aimed at supporting a more modern and integrated home. TCL’s global titles reinforce this move by building consumer trust and solidifying its credibility as a technology leader, not just a value-driven brand.

Premium displays are becoming the norm

As Filipino households shift toward higher-end displays, TCL sees rising interest in QLED and Mini LED models.

Huang explained the trend clearly: “Our aim is delivering an elevated home entertainment experience through superior picture quality, outstanding sound quality, and seamless overall performance.”

This shift is driven by HDR content, next-gen gaming, and changing viewing habits especially as more consumers recreate the cinematic experience at home.

    Ultra-large TVs take center stage

The new 115″ C7K QD-Mini LED TV represents TCL’s biggest leap yet. Supported by TCL CSOT’s display expertise, the model signals the brand’s intention to bring massive-screen entertainment to a wider audience.

TCL will continue expanding its 80-inch-and-above lineup, with the upgraded SQD-Mini LED NXTVISION series set for 2026.

The next wave: Smarter TCL Google TVs

TCL’s long-running partnership with Google continues to evolve, particularly as AI begins reshaping how users interact with their devices.

While nothing is confirmed yet, Huang shared that TCL is actively exploring ways future Google TV models could benefit from advancements in Google’s AI ecosystem. The goal is to create a smarter, more intuitive experience that moves beyond passive viewing and supports a more connected home environment.

    TCL’s 2030 outlook

“Our goal is to be the reliable partner for every Filipino home, providing smart appliances that create joyful, effortless moments in daily life,” Huang said. As TCL pushes forward, QD-Mini LED remains its core display technology—ensuring brighter, sharper, and more immersive entertainment for Filipino households.
