A gift guide for content creators

Anyone can start a career in social media with just a dream and a mobile device. But high-quality dreams need proper gearing up, taking your smartphone skills to the next level. With that said, we listed down five tools a budding content creator might need along the way.

    1. Vlogging Tripod

Stability is a critical factor in making your Tiktok or Instagram videos appealing. A lightweight and portable tripod is what you need to make your videos steady. Ulanzi’s Extendable Folding Vlog Tripod can be used in any scene you want to film—live broadcasting, solo and group selfies, vlogging, and more. It has a four-stage adjustable pull rod that can reach up to 102 cm. It also can be used for a digital camera or a mobile device.

This tripod is small and easy to store. However, if you’re looking for a tripod that can do more than just holding your device, Ulanzi offers its BG-3 10000mAh Battery Power Charger Power Bank Hand Grip with Mini Tripod. This tripod-slash-powerbank is compatible with any device—cameras, mobile phones, or sports cameras. It supports a two-way fast charging with an input power up to 18W.

    2. Wireless mic

The second tool you will need is a wireless microphone. It gives you the freedom of movement to film without sacrificing audio quality. This is also a must-have for filming interviews. Ulanzi’s J12 Wireless Lavalier Microphone can transmit sound up to 20 meters and has a charging box that allows one to charge both the transmitter and receiver.

    3. Cap Grip

Ulanzi has another accessory every vlogger needs—the CG01 Bluetooth Smartphone CapGrip. It enhances your video stability as it is anti-shake. The camera handle is made of silicone, so it will not feel heavy even after holding it for a prolonged period of time.

    4. 3-Axis Gimbals

Gimbals may look a bit like overkill in this day and age, but content creators will find filming to be much easier with a gimbal. There are many types meant for different situations but we narrow it down here, with two of the best from Hohem. The iSteady X / XE and Kit 3-Axis Smartphone Gimbal Stabilizer is one of the most affordable and feature packed gimbals today. The 2023 version has upgraded its anti-shake up to 30%.

Hohem’s iSteady M6 and M6 Kit 3-Axis Smartphone Gimbal Stabilizer is the creme dela creme of gimbals. If you’re buying this, you absolutely need to get the AI-sensor that tracks movement and doubles as a fill light.

    5. Underwater video light

Finally, for those dreaming of shooting underwater, Ulanzi also has its L2 Cute Lite Waterproof Underwater LED Mini Video Light for GoPro and DSLR cameras. The light is rated IP68 which means it can be used in freshwater for up to 1.5 meters in depth. Perfect for swimming pools. Investing in good accessories will improve your storytelling through videos and soon put you in the good places of the content creation industry.
