With a lot to choose from these days, it can be quite challenging to nail down your next daily driver – a smartphone with a very competitive camera.

To celebrate its fifth year anniversary, realme released the 11pro+ 5G which boasts a circular camera module that houses a 200MP OIS SuperZoom camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. These three cameras allow the device to perform well in daylight and in low-light conditions.

The phone’s 512GB variant is priced at P24,999 and is available in three styles: Astral Black, Sunrise Beige, and Oasis Green. The back design is a faux-vegan leather back with the inclusion of a gold zipper-like lining in the middle. Meanwhile, the front display has a 120Hz OLED screen that enhances navigation, ensuring seamless interaction, and is easy on the eyes.

This camera-centric phone allows you to capture events and scenes that maintain the accuracy of colors and details, which is highly suitable for any user with the inkling to shoot anything, anytime, and anywhere.

Taking a closer look at things is also a treat as the camera does not shy away from giving the user a treat with its 2x and 4x zooming options.

The 11pro+ 5g also excels in low-light conditions as it produces great photos even without using Night mode. There might just be a layer of noise reduction and oversharpening, however, the result is still pleasing.

The Street Mode is a delight. With different focal lengths, the Auto Zoom Mode automatically adjusts the frame and zooms to the subject just by tapping. Users can also enjoy a wide range of filters using this mode.

Taking photos of the night sky is also a treat as the camera enables the user to shoot in Starry Mode.

For video shooting, the camera shoots up to 4K at 30fps, and 1080p at 30fps and 60fps. The rear camera has the electronic stabilization always on and optional for the selfie camera.

Overall, the experience with the realme 11pro+ 5G is great and definitely allows you to get more than what you paid for.  Despite minor issues like the lack of an expansion slot and a removable battery, the phone’s greater qualities overshadow these.
